Negril  Mango Sauce Recipe
 
INGREDIENTS
3 medium ripe Jamaican mangos
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup water
tsp. Jamaican cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla extract
 
PREPARATION
1. Bring water, sugar and flavorings to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
2. Add peeled and sliced Jamaican mangos. Simmer for 10-15 minutes or until tender.
3. Serve plain, with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
