Jamaican Sweet Potato with Apple Recipe

Jamaican Sweet Potatoes with Jamaican Apple Slices
Jamaican sweet potatoes are cooked and sliced then layered with Jamaican apples and baked with Jamaican cinnamon and other ingredients.
 
INGREDIENTS:
2 large Jamaican apples, tart, unpeeled 
2 tablespoons butter 
2 large Jamaican sweet potatoes, boiled and cooled 
2 tablespoons hot water 
butter and Jamaican cinnamon
 
PREPARATION:
Core Jamaican apples, slice crosswise.
Heat butter in a heavy skillet; fry Jamaican apple slices until just tender, being careful not to break.
Cut Jamaican sweet potatoes in thick slices; sprinkle lightly with salt. 
Arrange Jamaican sweet potato slices in a buttered shallow baking dish; top with Jamaican apple slices. 
Dot with butter and sprinkle with Jamaican cinnamon. 
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
