Jamaican Sauté Plantain Recipe
A popular plantain recipe served as Jamaican side dish.
4 ripe Jamaican plantains
˝ cup Butter or Margarine Optional
2 Jamaican cloves
2 sticks Jamaican Cinnamon
2 tbsp brown sugar
1. Peel ripe Jamaican plantains and slice.
2. Heat butter or margarine and add spices.
3. Sauté at medium heat with spices until browned
4. Sprinkle with brown sugar
Serve as a Jamaican side dish or as a Jamaican dessert recipe.
