Jamaican Mango Chutney Recipe I
A popular of three traditional Jamaican mango chutney recipes.
3 to 4 pounds Jamaican mangoes
1 pound Jamaican currants
1 pound Jamaican raisins
1 pound brown sugar
3 pieces Jamaican ginger root
2 cups Jamaican cider vinegar
ounce ground Jamaican cloves
4 cloves Jamaican garlic
One pinch salt
3 Jamaican onions
1 diced green Jamaican scotch bonnet pepper
1. Peel Jamaican mangoes, slice into large cooking pot
2. Add other ingredients; cook to desired consistency.
3. Place in a jar to cool.
