Devon House Ice Cream Crescents Recipe

This recipe uses Jamaica's premier ice cream recipe to blend a great 
Jamaican recipe.
1 cup butter, softened
cup granulated sugar
cup confectioners sugar
1 egg
1 tbsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
tsp salt
cup roasted peanuts
Preheat oven to 350 degree F.
In large bowl, cream butter, granulated sugar.
Add egg and vanilla.
4. Stir in 2  cups flour, baking powder and salt.
Add peanuts.
Mix thoroughly to form a stiff dough, adding additional flour if necessary.
Dip hands in sugar and roll dough into small balls.
Roll each ball into a rope and shape into crescents on un-greased cookie sheets.
Bake 12-15 minutes or until bottom edges just begin to brown.
Remove cookies to rack; cool completely.
